Celib Move-out Procedure
Guide by Branch
We have compiled the move-out procedures for the Gadi, Yeoui, Kondae, and Eunpyeong branches in one place.
We will guide you through the process step-by-step so you can successfully complete your deposit refund.
Celib Common Move-out Principles
- The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days after the move-out procedure is completed.
- All personal belongings must be completely removed before the move-out date.
- The room must be restored to its original condition as it was at the time of move-in.
- Trash, waste, and attachments must be handled by yourself before moving out.
- Unpaid utilities and maintenance fees must be paid separately by yourself before deducting from the deposit.

Pack Personal Belongings
Please clear and organize all items in your room before midnight on your move-out date.
- Any items left unattended after the move-out date may be disposed of.
- We recommend moving large or bulky luggage in advance.

Restore Room Condition & Change Password
- Please restore the room to its original check-in condition as much as possible.
- Before leaving, change the door lock password to the code provided by the branch manager.
- Detailed instructions will be shared by the manager before your move-out.

Room Inspection
After packing and restoring the room, the branch manager will conduct a thorough room inspection.

Deposit Refund
The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days from the contract termination date.
Deposit Deduction Items
- Final month’s maintenance fee
- Move-out cleaning fee
- Unpaid rent and late interest (if applicable)
- Monthly parking fee (if used, reflected in the maintenance fee settlement)
⚠️ If there are unpaid maintenance fees, the deposit refund may be delayed. Please make sure to pay them before moving out.

- Restore all furniture to its original layout and condition as of move-in.
- Any left-behind items may be automatically discarded.

Please make sure to remove and dispose of all your food stored in the shared kitchen refrigerator before checking out.

Pack Personal Belongings & Restore Room Condition
- Clear all belongings from the room before your move-out date.
- Restore the room to its original check-in condition as closely as possible.
- Access to the room will be restricted after the move-out date, so please ensure you take all items with you.

Reset Password & Key Return
- Please reset the door lock password to the default code provided before checking out.
- Leave the remote controls and key cards on top of the kitchen counter.
⚠️ If it is difficult to change the password or you cannot be reached on the day, a door lock disassembly fee may apply. Please stay reachable on your move-out day.

Deposit Refund
The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days after the move-out procedure is fully completed.

Advance Notice of Move-out Time
- Please inform the branch manager of your expected move-out time at least 5 days in advance.
- Available move-out hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Excluding lunch hours: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
- If your move-out falls on or around public holidays, please notify us even earlier.

Utility Settlement & Gas Cancellation/Payment
- Maintenance fees and utilities must be fully settled before checking out.
- Gas Fee: Check the meter on the move-out day, then contact the City Gas Company (☎ 1588-5788) to pay and cancel simultaneously.
- Send the payment receipt to the branch manager on the same day.
- If you use automatic transfer: Make sure to cancel both the card and account linkage after the final payment.

Pack Personal Belongings & Restore Room Condition
- Clear all personal belongings before your move-out date.
- Restore the room to its check-in condition as much as possible.
- When moving furniture/large items, you must apply protective padding to the elevator and corridors yourself.
- Room access will be automatically revoked after the move-out date.

Key Card Return & Room Inspection
- Return your room key card to the Management Office or the Disaster Prevention Room on your move-out day.
- After returning it, conduct a room inspection accompanied by the on-site technician (Takes about 30 minutes).
- Lost or unreturned key cards will result in a 30,000 KRW deduction from your deposit.

Deposit Refund
The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days starting from the day after the move-out procedure is finalized.

⚠️ Unpaid utilities and maintenance fees are NOT automatically deducted from the deposit. You must pay them separately and directly before checking out. Any outstanding balance will delay your deposit refund.

Common Deposit Refund Guide
For all four Celib branches, the deposit will be returned within 7 business days to residents who have successfully completed all move-out check procedures. To receive your refund quickly, it is crucial to clear any unpaid items before moving out and confirm them with your branch manager.
